Startup Day 12/09

Latvia is the first country in the world to support startups and acknowledge their contribution to the economy by celebrating Startup Day on September 12th.

Startup day is a platform for uniting policy makers, startups and corporates to take action by discussing, learning about and celebrating the significant role of startups in the Latvian ecosystem. The day include workshops, discussions and networking.

Partners: #DFFestival, Startin.LV, Latvian Information and communications technology association LIKTA, Ministry of Economics, DDB Latvia, TechChill, Lattelecom, Buildit Accelerator and others.

09:00 – 10:00 “High Achiever Breakfast” The Student Business Incubator of the University of Latvia (5 Aspazijas boulevard)
10:00 – 12:00 Presentations of Top10 Startup brands (live stream @LMT Straume)
10:00 – 14:00 Lattelecom Masterclass “Koprades pamati: Kā pārvērst ideju par veiksmīgu risinājumu?” (105 Dzirnavu street) Registration capacity: 30 people – register ASAP!
13:00 – 18:00 “Startup Community Forum” – organised by the Latvian Start-up Association Startin.LV in cooperation with the Ministry of Economics (VEF district, 5A Ieriķu street)
