The Digital Freedom Festival is a multi-event platform where: digital era geeks meet policymakers to solve the challenges caused by the clash of the digital and analogue worlds; investors and technology evangelists connect with young, bright minds from the start-up scene; and we all discuss the impact of technologies on our life and lifestyles.
The Digital Freedom Festival stands for new digital liberties and against digital discrimination. It encourages discussion amongst all stakeholders to really “make the world a better place” and to bring the benefits of digital revolution to every member of society.
The DFF is a key influencer of digital culture in Northern Europe.
“Celebrate the digital culture” We celebrate the digital culture by seeking answers to our future developments in technology and start-ups, policy making and lifestyle.
“Challenge the status quo” We look for new ways of doing the old thing. For example, everyone talks about human rights. But what about digital rights? And what about non-human rights? Freedom must be the fundamental right in both analogue and digital worlds.
“Co-create” We believe in sharing ideas. After all, we all live together in the same environment. We value input from all stakeholders and we believe that everyone has the right and obligation to participate.
“Make things happen” We believe that leadership means bringing ideas to life in order to bring the digital dividends to us all.
“Have fun” Meaningful work does not have to be painful. Making our lives better should be a joyful journey that takes place naturally.
